Just One Goal

If you could reach just one goal in 2008, which one would it be?

How much of a difference in your life would it make if you reached it?

Will 2008 be just another ho-hum year that started with good intentions? Or will it be YOUR Year!

Your year to lose that weight you're tired of carrying...start that business you've been talking about...get out of debt for good.

Are you tired of being stuck in the same gear?

It's a well known fact that the biggest reason most people fail to achieve any real success in their life is....they never plan to.

They want to. They dream about it and fantasize about it. They talk about success. Maybe they even read success books, listen to success tapes and attend success seminars.

However, the sad fact is that unless a person has some incredible luck (like winning the lottery), their chances of succeeding without a plan are almost nil.

But suppose you could spend a few hours over the next few weeks and easily and totally plan the kind of year you're going to have in 2008.

What kind of year would you plan? Would you:
Double or even triple your earnings
Start your own business
Build the dream home you've always talked about
Eliminate all your consumer debt
Marry the person of your dreams
Get in the best shape of your life
Take the vacation of a lifetime
Sound too good to be true?

Well, it is if you don't have the right plan.

Think about it. 2008 will be the best year ever for some people. They will achieve at levels they never thought possible just a few years ago.

First, they will have a good plan built on solid principles. But they'll also have something else. The critical difference. They'll have a system of follow up and accountability that will help them put their plan into action (and keep taking action).

Are You Tired of Saying to Yourself "Wait Until Next Year?"

If you're tired of the "same ole, same ole." If it makes you ill to think of your life being in the same spot it is today a year from now. If you've drawn a line in the sand and made the decision that this is your year, then you're ready for Goals 2008.

Remember whatever you are ready for is always ready for you.

Set Meaningful Goals.

What do you want for your life? What do you feel passionate about? You will be most successful in life if you look to your heart for direction. Our heads usually tell us to do what we’ve always done, what we think we should do or what other people want and expect us to do. Instead, open to pursue what YOU really want. If there’s no excitement for you around a goal, it’s not coming from the heart.
Dream a little here. Don’t hesitate to ask for the very best. Believe in miracles!

Ask yourself these Smart Questions:

  • What do you want to accomplish this year?
  • What do you want to achieve in this lifetime?
  • What’s your greatest desire for your personal or work life?
  • What opportunity beckons right now?
  • Where do you need to take action? What needs to be done?
  • How are you truly seizing the day?
  • What will you choose to do today for your own fulfillment?

Write down your goals and continually review them! Writing them down anchors them more deeply. Reviewing your goals anchors them even more deeply. Get your subconscious mind working for you. Have your most important goal on the tip of your tongue. Always know your next step.

If we set our direction clearly, we have the foundation for effective decision-making. It will be clear to us what actions will move us towards our goals. This helps us develop intention and attention to what we want to achieve in life.

So think fof goals, set goals and go all out to achieve them, remember it is only a dream when there is no commitment

Goals

“Let him who would enjoy a good future waste none of his present.” --Roger Babson“

There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it.” -- Napoleon Hill “

The purpose of goals is to focus our attention. The mind will not reach toward achievement until it has clear objectives. The magic begins when we set goals. It is then that the switch is turned on, the current begins to flow, and the power to accomplish becomes a reality.” -- From The Best of Success, compiled by WynnDavis

“Opportunities multiply as they are seized.” -- John Wicker

“Every dawn, each man is offered, again, the freedom of choice…. While life remains, there is always the opportunity to remake the world.” -- Jim Coleman

“Desire, like the atom, is explosive with creative force.” -- Paul Vernon Buser
